My art practice is inspired by stories. Over many years of exploring diverse cultures and landscapes across the planet, I have collected images of people and places in the context of legends, myths and shared experiences mostly from oral storytelling traditions. Painting with oil, wax, ink and polymers, I capture these experiences on wood, paper, canvas and metal. Through abstract and figurative genres, I share these images as paintings, illustrations and story boards.
Trained in oil, ink, and encaustic, Wo works primarily on wood, canvas, paper and metal. As the daughter of NASA Scientists, her education explored not only art but questions in Physics and Philosophy.
