Seascapes: Encaustic on Wood

As a long time sailor and blue water racer, I have a passion for water based environments. This body of work reflects my deep respect for the Oceans and Seas around the planet. 

Some of these encaustic paintings express the environmental changes taking place today in our oceans: pollution, climate change, flooding, tsunamis, changing weather patterns and the destruction of our reef and shore systems. As stewards of the water and land on our planet, we cannot ignore the changes in our water systems.
