Allowing the movement of familiar lines and color to expose the mystery of place is why I paint landscapes. I celebrate the passage of time through shifting patterns of light and saturated color. These pieces propose a chaotic future unbounded by expectation, while exposing the past. This series is meant to encourage one to remember when the world was flat and we still chose to journey toward an infinite horizon.
